Bedford students in grades 3-5 enjoy weekly fifty-minute sessions with a specialist in teaching art. Many varieties of studio art and art appreciation are included in the art program. Through team planning by Lane School Staff, the arts and the academic curriculum are well integrated, which gives greater meaning to student work in both areas. The Arts in the Bedford Schools receive strong support from the Enrichment Committee of the B.E.S.T./ P.T.O. and from a community organization called Art Link.
