Bedford Adoptive Families Group (BAFG) - Offers Bedford adoptive families a forum for information sharing, education, and social interaction. Contact: Linda White at (781) 275-9574, or click here to email.

Bedford Family Connection (BFC) – A volunteer organization which supports any family with a child age 5 or younger. The BFC sponsor's a children's playroom (open weekdays 9:30am - 11:30am) at First Parish Church, along with numerous activities and events for children and families each month. There are educational workshops for parents and monthly "Mom's Night Out" and "Dad's Corner" socials. Communication is primarily through our BigTent group (click here to visit their website, then search: Bedford Family Connection) and a monthly newsletter emailed directly to members. Saturday afternoon play dates are organized based on (future) year entering Kindergarten, with forums for each class available on BigTent (to easily organize small group play dates or share other age-appropriate information/questions). Bedford Schools Association (BSA) - Umbrella organization supporting all Parent Teacher Organizations in Bedford. Fundraising provides student enrichment, grant money, scholarships, and parent speakers. Runs Thrift Shop in Town Center. Contact: Yvonne Sandell at (781) 275-0562.

Bedford Elementary Schools Together/Parent Teacher Organization (BEST/PTO) - Unites over 700 families at the Davis Elementary (K-2) and the Lane Elementary (3-5) School, providing support, communication and enrichment to students and staff. Over 1000 students and their teachers benefit from the volunteer resources channeled through programs and projects. The BEST/PTO dedicates at least 90% of its operating budget to enrichment, teaching tools and student programs.

Bedford Youth and Family Services - Resource for Bedford families on family development issues. Offers counseling, community education, youth leadership and support. Located at Town Center. Contact: Sue Baldauf, Director at (781) 275-7727 ext. 263.

Kids Club - Child care for school age children of Bedford residents. Before-school, after-school and kindergarten options, grades K-age 14. Open all year. Staffed with child care professionals; offered through Rec. Dept. Contact: Kim Sutkus at (781) 275-5427.

Non-Profit Bedford Family Child Care Providers Association - Offers free information packet and referral list designed to aid parents in research for child care. All members licensed by the Office for Children; CPR and First Aid certified; regularly attend classes and workshops. Contact: Kathy Trelegan at (781) 275-9242.

Parents Advisory Council (PAC) - Supports families of special needs students in grades K-12. Contact: Jude DeHart at (781) 271-1184.
