Information Night for 5th Grade Parents will be held on Thursday, March 23rd. It will be held from
6-7pm and located at our JGMS Auditorium.
Bedford High School’s Production of the Show — Children of Eden March 15th-18th - featuring Lane Students
The Bedford High School Music/Theatre Department presents their Spring Musical Children of Eden. The musical is an indirect retelling of three biblical stories: Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel and Noah and the flood. It is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. Come be entertained while supporting the Bedford students in their show. This heartfelt and often humorous tale is best suited for families with children in grades 5 and older. The show runs Wednesday, March 15th at 4:30pm,Thursday, March 16 - Saturday, March 18 at 7pm in the Bedford High School Auditorium. SING INTO SPRING: AN A CAPPELLA FESTIVAL!
Save the Date! On April 2, 2017, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm in the Bedford High School Auditorium, POMS will host "Sing Into Spring: An A Cappella Festival," featuring student a cappella groups from local high schools, including BHS. The Boston Skyline Chorus and Vocal Revolution, local professional women's and men's a cappella groups, will headline the event. Tickets are $15 in advance at www.bedfordpoms.org or $20 at the door. You won't want to miss it!

Becoming an All-Star takes hard work, dedication, a winning attitude and preparation. Get prepared for your 2017 spring baseball season by signing up for a great camp experience. There is no better way to show your dedication in becoming a better baseball player then to learn the fundamentals from experienced high school coaches and players. Join us for 4 fun weeks of baseball training that will get you excited for your season to begin. WALK-UPS WELCOME.

It’s that time of year again. Time to think of next year and registering your little one for Kindergarten. They will need to be 5 before Aug. 31, 2017. If you didn’t get a registration packet in the mail in the last week or so please call the office, 781-275-6804
The transition to kindergarten marks the start of your child’s journey through the public school system – one that we are certain many of you cannot believe that you are already embarking upon! The school will be hosting several upcoming events to introduce you to faculty members, instructional programs and our facilities. Please note the following events on your calendar:
* Informal Coffee – Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 9:30 A.M.
* Evening Information Session – Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 6:30 P.M.
* Kindergarten Screening – March 20, 21, 23, 24 & 27
The morning coffee held on March 9th will be an informal opportunity for first time parents to meet with school staff and ask any questions about our kindergarten program. We will introduce several key faculty members at that time –the Early Childhood Coordinator, Tanya Kalantari, the School Guidance Counselor, Paula Springer, the School Nurse, Tracy Fernald, and our Special Education Program Administrator, Peggy Regan – and take you on a tour of the building. Our conversations will be geared towards parents who are sending their children to Davis for the first time, but all incoming parents are welcome to attend.
Please Join us for viewing of “SCREENAGERS”:
Please join the Guidance Department at John Glenn Middle School for a viewing of the award-winning documentary film, “Screenagers” on Tuesday, March 21st at 6:30 pm. The film will be shown in the JGMS auditorium. Students and parents are invited to the event and students will be offered some extra credit opportunities for attending! There will be a short question and answer period following the film and additional resources will be provided to parents.
