Extra-Curricular

John Glenn Middle School students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities.  Students will find that these activities offer a great time to be with their friends, and they are lots of fun!  It is important to note, our school policy requires that a student’s work be up to date in order to participate in extracurricular activities.  Failure to keep up with academic work means that students may not be allowed to participate (practice or play) in these activities until school work is satisfactorily complete. Student activities are held after school on the days that there is a late bus.  It is expected that those students who wish to participate in any extracurricular activity will demonstrate good citizenship and behavior and not have an attendance record of concern.  Any student who fails to meet these criteria may become ineligible for extracurricular activities.  Students owing any money for lost textbooks or other financial obligations may lose their eligibility for future extracurricular activities.
