Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
WHAT IS AN EAP?
EAP stands for employee assistance program. It is an employee benefits program provided by the Town of Bedford to try to support the well-being of team members. The idea of an EAP is to try and help employees resolve issues and address concerns that could impact their lives. The Town of Bedford has partnered with MIIA, our municipal insurance provider, to provide services through them in conjunction with AllOne Health.
Your EAP can help you reduce stress, improve mental health, and make life easier by connecting you to the right information, resources, and referrals.
All services are at no cost to you, the employee, confidential, and available to you and your family members. This includes access to short-term counseling and a wide range of services, some of which are listed below:
- Medical Advocacy
- Mental Health Counseling
- Financial Assistance
- Legal Assistance
- Life Coaching
- Work/Life Resources
As your employer we are able to receive the total number of our employees who access the services, but we have no access to names or identifying information; your personal information will remain your own.
